I've been looking at bvac ammo. Anyone have any opinions on this stuff. Also any downsides Or upsides to their bi-metal bullet.

Before I started re-loading (last year) I bought several boxes
of BVAC .45 Colt .They claimed 950 fps..I totally agree.I think they
were every bit of that.Nice re-coil just told me that it had some punch.
If I didn't re-load I'd go with those any day. They were cheap (well none
of the .45 Colt is cheap),but "cheaper" at Cheaper than dirt.com.
I'm still using the brass as it is is of good quality.Made in America.
As far as the bi-metal?The ones I got was lead alloy of some type.

The 308 rounds from them say bi- metal bullet. It is copper jacketed too. All the reviews on this stuff are pretty good! I have a boc coming in 308 and I may get abox of 40 cal... Just got a xdm-40
