"This day shall forever be marked by celebrations, bonfires and the firing of gonnes...."

Of course Adams was referring to July SECOND when he wrote his wife, when the Declaration was RATIFIED, but the sentiment is the same!:D

How many of you have or plan to "do your duty" and "make some glorious noise" with guns today?

Two strippers rapid fire from my M38 out back woke up the neighborhood just now....:p ;) :D :D :D Fireworks may be fun, but a Mosin Carbine is LOUDER....;)

    Happy Independence Day!

    Think of the troops, and...

    stay safe.....

Can't fire in the city, here. Plenty of fireworks in the neighborhood, though. It's driving Mitzie crazy !!!!!!

We will have all the Mississippi chillins, and a fiancée here today with Nanna. It will be a wonderful day for all.

Mother Nature is the one making some glorious noise right now  ... hope it doesn't spoil the fireworks show tonight. :( You just haven't seen a fireworks show until you've stood on the bluffs of the Mississippi River and watched fireworks being shot from a barge in the middle of the River.
  4. Nice Bonnie Blue you have there, Marlin! :D

It wouldn't be the Fourth without a little gunfire, Polish.
