I am so proud of my personal family for digging in and helping with Hurricane Katrina I cried when I read this note from my niece. Chuck is my nephew. All of you who have helped " THANK YOU' seems so small a word. For any if you who did not know of the effort it is Cajun Relief Fund, Chemical Shoreline Bank, PO BOX 329, Fennville, MI 49408. This is the first time that I have really felt alive again since RUFFITT passed away 16 months ago. I Love you all you have been my family too. Tag-a-long

I guess it was a hit, the police dept. unloaded Chuck - the people were so
grateful for everything. One lady took off with a pick up and car load of
stuff, they were so surprised by the meat and frozen food he had on the
trailer - they were and are so sick of eating canned food. Chuck attached to
a little girl there, he asked her is she wanted an apple and she said she
did not like apples, Everett told Chuck to find the box that Lisa packed
full of just stuffed animals, he found her a Tigger one that was about 21/2
foot tall, he gave it to her and told her she had to give him a smile and
she gave him the biggest one (she had no front teeth) and that really made
it worth it. Everett looked at Chuck and told him "Well Mr. Rector, I think
we did the right thing". He cannot wait to get the next load to them - they
all kept thanking him and he told them he would be back the end of next
week. They need more food and we need to try to get some money donations in
to help with the fuel. He has alot of good pictures - he delivered next to
the school where alot of the people are staying. This is so awesome
Thank you to all and love you
    Deb

That brought tears to my eyes, Tag.

It is great hearing from you and you do indeed have a right to puff right up and be proud. It is actions such as this that make America great and really tell most about us - -
