I finally dug up a set of target/peep sights that I've had for a very long time and have not been able to identify.
I know they will fit a grooved receiver but so far they don't fit any standard or metric receiver that I am aware of.
Looking at the construction I would guess these sights would belong to a rim fire or possibly an air gun.
Looks like Diana air rifle sights, could be used on .22 also. The US Government Kimber 82G .22 cal. rifle came with Diana air rifle sights as standard equipment.
No problem grcsat, Diana's were made in England and Australia and Dianawerks were made in Rastatt Germany . The reference to the Kimber 82G was just that they came with front and rear sights made by Diana of Australia. Hope that you can figure it out, I am intrigued as to what they are also.
The Kimber sight was considerably larger and was marked to maker. Wonder how wide that dovetail clamp is on the sight in question?
