    1 1/2 lbsd cubed stew meat (front shoulder)
    flour, salt and pepper
    3 tablespoons cooking oil
    2 onions
    1 1/2 cups beef bouillon
    4 potatoes quartered
    4 carrots, quartered
    3/4 cup tomato sauce
    1 1/2 tablespoons flour

    Douse stew meat with seasoned flour. Brown, in heavy pot with cooking oil. Add whole onions and bouillon to pot. Cover and simmer for 1 hr., or until meat is nearly tender. Add potatoes and carrots and cook until done, another 30 minutes. Blend flour into tomato sauce and add to stew. Bring to boil, stirring until broth is thickened. SERVES: 4
