    Actually, carved leather is still stamped using tools to bias those cuts to show em off...so even carved leather has stamping on it. It is tooled leather, you're not just carving it.
    Your oak leaf pattern is highlighted with a bunch of bevel, crescent, and other assorted tools to bring out the pattern. Same as the fern and tulip pattern that ozo posted up.

    You are correct that "stamped leather" is just embossed with a stamp. This would be like ka64's eagle & flag holster. There's not much to stamping leather...and it's not as unique as handtooling.

    BUT you are NOT supposed to know that........
    only the few and select are to be aware of such......
