The guy said when he switched barrels he was afraid of stripping the screws so he did not tighten tighten them. Has anyone out there switched barrels on a pistol?

barrel replacement on the p22 is not all that hard. any indication of what he twisted? When you replace a barrel on a P22 the barrel and the feedramp/breech. There is a bushing on the end of the barrel that unscrews to remove the barrel sleeve. If this was the problem I would imagine that they would have stripped the slots before they did any major damage. Unless they used a vice grip or something worse they could have possibly twisted the barrel and breech and ruined the frame.
Never heard of anyone with barrel replacement issues on a P22
