Where do you buy your rimfire ammo? I usually buy from Midway usa, Cascade ammo, and Midsouth. Any other places that might be cheaper? Also, has anyone tried the new Hornady ammo for the 22 mag yet and what do you think about it? Thanks and Merry Christmas!!;)

    I get .22lr from Wal-Mart at about $9.88 a brick of 550rnds before taxes. Dunno about .22mag.

I sometimes buy ammo from J&G, but you may want to buy a lot of 'em to offset s/h.

Another source would be a gun dealer or a pawn shop and see what they have and keep an eye out for gun shows.

I agree with WallyMart. Buying online kills you because of the HazMat shipping fee.

Try your local flea market. I have pruchased lots of ammo there in all kinds of calibers, new and old. However, I would stay away from the reloads. You have no idea how much of what was loaded in them.

Shipping is harsh, sometimes. My last order:

    500rds - 22M
    500rds - 17 Mach 2
    5000rds - 22LR
    50rds - 32ACP
    25rds - 44M

    That's 6,075 rounds @ almost 60lbs. Shipped for $39.56.

I just mailed two intake manifolds totaling just under 40lbs - cost me $43.08.

Now fighting crowds for the most part, gas in the truck, somebody always wants something to eat...internet shopping and shipping = A+ in my book.

882, the cheapest I have found on 22WMR is Armscor, out of Parumph, Nevada. You can Google Armscor for the phone and contact. Buy case prices, and pay shipping very cheap.
