I have one sitting on the rack - sometimes called the Chinese Generalismo rifle. Rough shape, they didn't take good care of them. It is one of them "someday" project guns. I also have a CZ24 with Chinese characters stamped in the stock - also a pitted nightmare.

During the long civil war the Chinese Nationalist government bought quite a few Standard Model Mausers, but way too few to replace their losses; so, most Xiang kai Xec Mausers are Chinese-made. If you have German proofs, ok, though it might have been a Korean capture. But don't try to fire the Chinese models; they are not reliable.
