While an interesting read, this is not news. The Left Democratic Party has been at this kind of strategy for decades, unlike the Republicans who seem to just 'wing it' .
For decades, the average Republican Conservative 'assumed' that most were like them and ignored the signs of our changing demograhics.
This was evidenced by the POTUS 's re-election. And the reaction to it, as evidenced here.

One thing is that Austin is going blue. Like any plague it has the potential to spread like wildfire with enough wind.

Never happen here. Austin is well known here for being weird . In fact the slogan there is " keep Austin weird ". It is a haven for gays and lesbians and over educated idiots and govt workers. It however is not how Texas really is. But Firefighter is right....we need to pay attention.

It ain't just Austin. All the major cities in Texas are consistent blue zones. Take a look at the map below. San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and Dallas are easily found by their color... and it ain't red. Plus the border counties which are politically controlled by Hispanics.

Don't be fooled by the amount of red on the map. Geographically, the majority of the state is red, but most of these areas are sparsely-populated rural areas. The representative power of the large cities is larger than it appears on the map.

While I feel it would still be a LONG struggle for liberals to gain a majority in this state, it does bear watching. Their disease is growing, and unless the trend changes, it's only a matter of time before they gain control.
