My friend has a 1861 parker hale 2 band musketoon and a 1858 3 band eurosport enfiield that were his fathers who was an avid reenactor in the war of northern aggression, he wishes to sell these, can anyone give me any advice on who may be interested in purchasing these? they also have bayonets included. Thanks--Rommelvon

    Rom,
On your search engine line: North-South Skirmish Assoc
This will push you to our Main Page, click on Bulletin Board.
Scroll down to Civil War Arms, describe the Parker Hale's condition and the first two serial numbers. It is required that you list an asking price. (Is is a musketoon or a two-band musket?) Either way, should fetch a pretty penny. Parker Hales are fine shooting muskets, well made, with progressive depth rifling, and good sights.

You won't get as much for the eurosport, as it is more of a beginner level musket.
While you are there, take a moment to look at my 'main' hobby!
If you get a nibble and need a reference, p/mail me.

Excellant, thanks for the info, I will find out what my friend wants for them and list them, I'd love to have the parker myself, but I would never use it. Thanks for the info and Ref offer.

the web has several reenacting forums that would provide you with a buyer for these rifled muskets.
the authenic campaginer is one of them.
    good luck,
