Says colt mk iv series on the drivers side and 22 conversion unit on the passenger side. Just wondering what the difference is between this one and an ACE conversion kit. Also, how much would this be worth?
It is basically in pristine condition and the box isn't as bad in person as it is in the photo.
The " Ace " system used a floating piston that created a heavy recoil ( to equal somewhat the recoil of a .45 ). The original system was designed for a cheap way to train someone on the . 45. Most modern conversions use a very light slide and recoil spring for the .22 to work. The original "Ace" was never meant to be a pinker. Value, someone else will have to step in on that.
