I own a 3” barrel, Colt Lawman MKIII in 357 Magnum, OTG. The bluing is 99% and gun is in excellent shape both in looks and performance. It was made in Colt’s PT. E.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Conn. USA. The wood grips are also in great shape with the usual Colt (horse) trademark on them. The gun is double action with fixed sights. I read that these police revolvers were made from 1969 through 1983.

Could you please tell me how much they are selling for in todays’market?

    Thanks,
    Net

I am also interested to find out about this gun. I have what sounds like the exact same gun but I believe the barrel is 2 or 2 and a half inches.

    Hi Net.....welcome to TFF.

Indeed, the Colt Lawman Mk. III was manufactured between 1969 and 1983.

It's value, according to the Blue Book....

    Colt Lawman Mk. III:
    100% - $425
    98% - $375
    95% - $300
    90% - $180

BTW....better check your ruler. The Lawman only came with a 2" or 4" barrel.
