hi all, i have a Colt SAA that was produced in either 1979 or early 1980, i forget the sn but i checked it out one time and it falls right in there. i was thinking of selling it and wonder the value. i have the original box(shows wear and tear), paper work, the white styrofoam(spl?), it has both the 45colt and 45acp cylinders, and is 4.75" barrel. it has around 300rds through it. there are only slight marks on the 45colt cylinder from shooting, and the 45acp i dont believe has ever been fired, there are not marks from it being rotated while in the pistol. it is all original.

I think your gun is a 3rd generation SAA. These are available at auction now new in box at $1105.00 + $25,00 S&H. So yours should bring at auction around $900 more of less depending on condition. Hope this helps.
