I got out to clear my head and took a couple hundred pictures this weekend, I've only had time to resize a few of them, but wanted to share them with my friends here.

Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! :)

Nice shots Donny. I just visited your website and enjoyed the photos. The "Figures in the Clouds" were excellent.

Photography was an avocation of mine many years ago. I still have the Nikon and lenses (somewhere) but I'm not sure that you can find film anymore. Everything seems to be digital today.

    Keep up the good work.

One thing that separates the pro from the amateur is the number of shots taken. Pros used to shoot hundreds to thousands of shots per day, now, with digital technology might shoot ten times that. It is a fact, no matter how good you are, the more you shoot the better your chances.

Spot on Tim. You could also say. The more you do , whatever it is, the better your chances.

Thank you very much for the comments!

Jack, much appreciated, but I don't think that I am good and FAR from it, but I enjoy photography very much, so I have fun sharing when I capture something that I am proud of. :)

Tim... Film camera still have their place! I also understand that some of the older Nikon lenses still work with the newer DSLR Nikon cameras in "manual mode".

Here's one more that I edited for the web.

I just got back from your site and I am really impressed. I had seen some of those before in posts and they are still just as good as the first time I saw them. Great work all around!
