    I was wanting to post I bought me a new Dillon 550b {as gunguy suggested }
    But after viewing their web site ,and calling them I can see get set up is going to be a pain ,I asked for a complete package ,but the sales person wasn’t able to give me anything but send me a catalog that will be here in two weeks

    He tries to add a powder checker ,wouldn’t that be the same as looking in the tube ? ,he laughed ,said yep

    I have a question though ,if the loader has a automatic powder measure ,why would I need a powder scale ?

    He and you are both correct, but in the heat of using a progressive, you can run out of powder and not know it. Believe me, I'v don it myself. The checker is just an audible alarm, but worth it in my opinion. Better than having to dismantle 300 rounds like I did, ONCE; just once!

    Because you have to adjust the powder measure for the charge you are using. Still need a scale!

    Hope this helps.
