Does anyone know where I can get a schematic of the Davis D22 Deringer. My safety came out and I cant get it to stay in I think I lost a part. :(

The safety is held in with a spring that goes back into the side of the frame
    just below the firing pin.

There should be tiny spring back in that hole.
The spring has a small ball that goes on top of it.

With the safety removed the ball on top of the spring has to be pushed back into the frame and the safety inserted so the slot in it passes over the ball.

    It's not real easy.

If your missing the spring or ball you will prob need to get a parts gun for replacement.

You got the spring and the ball your in good shape.

Let me see if I can make this as easy as I can.

Get little plastic nozzle like you use on a WD40 spray.

    Break the barrels open

Now looking a the firing pins note the hole to the left.

The safety button should be removed at this time

Stick the nozzle thru the hole it will pass through the safety button hole and in to the hole where the spring goes

Remove the nozzle and place the spring in the hole

Push it all the way down in to the back hole

    It should stay there

Place the ball on top of the spring and push it down with the nozzle

insert the button from the same side the spring is on

The button has a slot in it make sure the slot is over the ball

Push it thru until the ball is in the groove of the button then turn it until the notch in the safety and hammer line up

    That will do it

    Good luck
