dual recoil spring???

    Custom - Best value out there in my book. All that you want at a reasonable price, nothing you don't need added on for extra money. My "First Model" is a dream - even if it does have a plastic Mc-Trigger.

    Thanks guys... now i've made up my mind... I'ts compact cdp for me! let u guys know how i find the compact cdp as soon as i get one and put rounds in it. Thanks again... :D

    For what it's worth; I believe the recoil spring set up illustrated is a Louis Seecamp design; I know it to hace been used on the little Detonics .45. It WORKS.
    The Combat Master line of pistols from Detonics is smaller in the grip, by more than half a finger, than the Colt Officer's/Defender line. Gives real meaning to the words" Get a grip"

    Well, the Ultra RCP II really has my eye, but at $1250 MSRP, maybe not.

    A Colt i bought had the double spring thing. A gunsmith explained it as above. It lessens the impact of the slide slamming back into the frame.
