Only that Robert Dugard, Gun maker, was bought out by William Tranter in 1849. You are not going to find an original spring, how ever any established gunsmith should be able to match the spring needed. Or contact Wolff Springs and see what they can do. Or Visit Brownell's web site and order a mixed set of gun springs. Added: or check with Dixie Gun Works, who knows, they might be able to help.
