I just purchased a Rock River LAR-15 Entry Tactical and was wondering if the ECOTech Holosight is worth the $450?

For those of you who own one, what are your likes and dis-likes?

    Thanks
    Bob

The $$$ ??? really depends on what model you purchased ...

EoTechs are good for CQB. The have a fast acquisition. However, their batteries run out quicker than most Aimpoints today.... For distance and CQB I personally would rather have an ACOG - which can also be used for CQB - but not as well as an EoTech - IMO, but for me it works..... So, it really depends on your primary use of the weapon ... and you as an individual. But they do make a quality product IMO.

Had the Eotech, heavy costs a lot and eats batteries. Takes a beating, and keeps on ticking.
My Bro has the $650 dollar bullet drop model. works well out to 200 yards.

Aimpoint and ATN suck buttermilk. Batteries kept shutting off, returned twice, gave away.

Vortex red/green dot, cheap, rugged, and still has the OEM battery in it.
