Enfield #4 question

A local shop got in a #4 MkI Enfield recently. It is stamped on the receiver,"O.F.M. #4 MkI" Any idea what the OFM refers to? I din't see any import stamp on it, and there really are no other marks, other then some proof marks. One, near the OFM stamp, is a crown, over an N.
Any ideas where this came from? It seems short to me. It is about the same height as a Norinco SKS(it sits next to it on their rack). It's in excellent shape, I have to assume it's been refinished, I'm just not sure by whom. I was wondering if it could be a Navy Arms, or Gibbs model.
It keeps tempting me every time I go in there.
