I don't know if it is Obama, global warming, galloping liberalism, the approach of the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar, the economy -
But for WHATEVER reason, more and more good folks are arming themselves and preparing for battle. People that used to be pacifist. People that formerly just minded their own business without regard to the worlds troubles.

This is very troubling to me, as it should be to all of us.

I used to hunt but due to some physical problems and relocation I have not hunted in many years. Due to last years election and the resulting socialistic legislation I have brought my firearms up from my mothers home and have purchased extra ammo for each including a good selection of 12 ga ammo for various protection needs. I also had never gotten concealed carry permit after moving but have now gotten that renewed and have purchased a new .40 cal for CCW and .357 mag for home. I believe that the fecal material will hit the rotating blades in the near future if this keeps up.

Take a large group of straight people, that are used to doing what they want on the weekends, and raising their family as they see fit. Then one day all of a sudden you start steeling from them. Take their retirement, put a faggot in charge of the schools, put a socialist in the wh, spend their kids money, come up with more ideas for taxes, slow the economy down to a drip, now you can't even put gas in your vehicle, a gallon of milk is 5.00, bail out your budddies and then give them bonuses, bail out the car companies so the unions can pocket even more money, have a woman in the adminstration (Hillary) who is 2 faced, she tells 3rd world countries to exploit their natural resources and comes home to tell us we cant do that, see where i am going?

Joe public used to spend time with his kids on the weekends and do fun things, today there is no money to do thoses things. What is the point in living if you can't do what you want. Your just a slave.

look at his video and pass it around, it tells the story

it needs to hit the fan otherwise we are going to keep getting walked on

    Nice sentiments.

    However...

It's too late. Hunker, bunker, and pray. Get your life right. These people will NOT relinquish their power.

And I sure as heck don't want to give control BACK to the turncoat Republicans, who only get "conservative religion" when they're not running things.

Loved the pic and had to "steal" it. :D As to your question the answer is yes I have noticed this but wish more were doing the same. Yes, the thought that people will be forced to violence is troubling but on the other hand I feel better when I see so many that understand the threat to our freedoms which presently exist.

I think the reasons are two-fold. First of all is the changes that the socialists running our country are imposing on us. Secondly is the aftermath of 9-11. People are waking up to the terrorist threat and want to be prepared just in-case. Wondering what our enemies will be up to next, one imagines any number of actions including a "Red Dawn" scenario. Sounds implausible but who would have imagined terrorists hi jacking planes and flying into the WTC?

Personally I have become increasingly frustrated with our current situation. As may have been noticed my posts are much less frequent than a few months ago (some may call that a good thing:eek:). That's because it seems everything that can be said has been said. I could write a book about the misuses of power and usurpations of liberty and how the government of the freest country in the world has been and is being corrupted.

Now almost every day we are faced with a new insult to liberty and it seems to me the time for talk has almost passed and now it's time for action. But what action?

I abhor violence, but politically it seems we are outnumbered and impotent. And just who would we take action against? I think most of us certainly wouldn't want a fight with our military OR law enforcement. It's the lying, conniving, socialist politicians we are against. But what do you do, invite Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid et al to a street fight?

So we arm as if something is going to happen but we do nothing and watch as our country, our constitution, and our government is slowly and methodically being dismantled.

What everybody is hearing and feeling is hundreds of years worth of our boys and girls screaming from the grave, "YOU IDIOTS"

If you go to a national cemetary, stand amoung those souls, and you can hear it. If we don't get control of our freedoms again I sure do hope all those souls will have room to forgive us.

While it has not been publicized much, the trend is for life expectancy for Americans to decline.

We have a corrupt and out of control government. Massive amount of US jobs and the cushy middle-class lifestyle of many Americans are vanishing. So, even without any of our SHTF scenarios coming to fruition - 'just living life' can be quite a survival feat nowadays in our world that is quickly decomposing before our very eyes.

Besides Peak Oil, Peak Food, Peak Water, Peak NG, Peak Uranium, Overpopulation and a poisonous polluted world we have created here is a list of threats facing humans from S.R.T.

One person on another forum made a joke about some of the threats. My job is not to censure this list, but I just put it out as one compilation of things one might prepare for. You decide what may apply to you.

...but bear in mind what my survival mentor says: "to prepare for the unthinkable one must first think the unthinkable."

Just look at Haiti this week. Desperate people will do things that they would not normally do. They will kill for a bottle of water down there now and sadly that is not a metaphor or anything, but is a fact!! There are many people in the US who are approaching this point, but the main difference is that in the US they have more the means to revolt effectively.

Haiti has roving bands of gangs who are looting and taking whatever they can get their hands on. Difference here is with internet and social networking communication, roving bands that form in the US will be in the thousands and will be well armed. I believe also that if the crap hits, the military will not support this administration. What amazes me is that Obama does not seem to realize just what he is doing at "street level". I understand that he is trying to create a socialist nation and to control everything but he does not have control of radio (he tried) internet (he tried) and guns (he tried).

I really believe, that like someone above stated, that human nature is to not get involved and let this happen to them HOWEVER Obama has moved way too fast and has created such a shock to the system that people will not "roll over" and take it up the "Hershey Highway" Had he moved more slowly I think he may have been able to slip all this through a little at a time. IMHO.

The sad thing that I see happening is that people will keep doing nothing thinking "We've got to give democracy a chance...Make sure you vote in 2010, 2012 etc" but the only thing that is going to happen is that slowly but surely our freedoms and our liberties will be stripped bare from us.
As stated above by RunningOnMT "But what do you do, invite Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid et al to a street fight?" What do we do besides vote? And in the end once the voting has taken place what do you do if nothing changes and the majority want Obama in charge and they want the government to make all their decisions for them? Do we all just take it because that's what the majority want? And after all, this is a democracy.
I've only recently found this forum and realized that not everyone out there is just another idiot. It does sure seem like to me though that it's not that people don't realize what is going on in our country these days but more that they are being willfully ignorant of it. They just flat out refuse to care because hey...If it sounds good it must be good.
I do hope things change and we can get back to having personal accountability for everyone but the more people I meet out there the more I think to myself that I just don't know what is going to happen. I will always do my part to the best of my ability because my upbringing will not allow anything less but if things don't change in the coming elections what is next?

We had a guy at work that had an obomba doll on his desk (3 pc plastic), and that rainbow looking sticker/magnet thing. This was prior election.
I'm the first one in and one day I turned the dolls head 180 degrees, and the bottom 180. So now the dolls head and butt are facing the same direction, while the torso is the opposite, giving the impression he's talking out his back side.:D

    Boy howdy was he upset!:eek::mad:
He asked everyone if they saw who did it.

These are the brains at work here.
    DON'T DISS THE CHOSEN ONE!

I miss the kid. I'd like to ask him how all 'hope and change' is working for him and his family. But he's a spoiled brat with wealthy parents. The words would have been lost on him.

In his honor, I purchased an obomba bobble head. Not only did I turn it's head around, but I put a couple polished rocks inside the head so it rattles when you shake it.:D

If your wealthy to the point you have no wants, or poor enough that you only have needs, the messiah is.
If you have to battle for every dime you contribute, you see another side of the issue.

Our numbers are declining. The unemployed have no benefits. The illegals have no respect for the past. The wealthy don't care.

We are truly at the apathy stage of government rule. The writing is on the wall.:(
