whats yalls favorite gun and why? EDIT: doesnt have to be limited to just one gun if there are several that hold a special place in your heart

mine is my ruger single six. made in 74. while i dont have a lot of history with it, when shooting it i think of a simpler time. a time of cowboys. i think about how maybe a cowboy would have had a love for firearms like i do and might would have bought a 22 caliber pistol to plink with and for small game, kept it in is pack or on his saddle horn for the quick rabbit.

i think about freedom and the joys of being an american. about doing the right thing and keeping your word. i think about hunting buffalo and grizzly bear, trapping and living off the land.

most of all it makes me feel good. so what is yalls favorite and why?

John, Very nice revolver it's one that's on my short list. The vintage is right where I like'em too.

RG, I'd like to see a picture of that 10/22...

Mine would have to be my S&W 15-3 K Frame 38 Spl. Six Shot c.a. 1972 with vintage Herretts.

Mine is this Ruger 357 Anniversary. I bought the gun in 2005 when they first came out and had Bowen tune it right away.

My favorite gun although i don't own one. It would be an Colt 1911a1 just because of the history of that gun and it was the first gun I read about. Then i got to shoot one and fell in love with the 1911.

its a g22 40 caliber. i switch between that and a smith and wesson 642. the smith is a lot easier to back because its so light
