Well After about 3 months of debating and asking opinions on here, between the glocks, Taurus, Smiths Rugers etc, and not being able to settle my mind on the right gun for me i finnally said screw it. Went in with Permit in hand and cash in pocket, and just started handlin gun, first gun to fit i would buy.

Went with the GP 100 from Ruger
blued, 6" heavy barrel, Shot it twice now,

    am i disapointed.....
    ummm NO!

Another Jersey boy with a 6" blued GP-100.......cool...!

I was shooting mine today...put 50 rounds of .357 magnums, and 200 rounds of .38 spl's through it. Would have shot more, but I also had to shoot my snub nose Rossi, and my Colt Targetsman.

Once you burn a few more rounds through it, look into a set of Wolf reduced power springs for it, you won't believe how much better it will shoot......

Good choice Whitefang81, you're gonna enjoy this gun for a long time.
