Hi guys
I am new to this forum, sport and guns in general. Like most of my purchases that I know little about I’d like to get some info and I have found over the years that this is normally the best way.
I am pretty sure that I want to get a Remington 870. The two brands I was considering were Remington and Browning. It came down to price and reliability for your money. I am looking for a classic look of the Wingmaster without the price tag.
When I looked at the 870 line up on the website there are over 10 different models of the same model. So what I need help with is what is the difference between the: express, deer, turkey, super magnum, synthetic and others? Also how does the barrel length play a role? What kind of barrel for what purpose?
I think I will be shooting slugs and buck shot. If it helps.
Any and all replies will be appreciated, thanks!
