  2. Maybe you should transport a few to England, 22. I understand Tranter has a nice backyard for raising squirrels. :D;)

If you want them gone, just wait until all are in side, I think a blast of #6 from the 12 ga. oughta do it.

Looks like a good shot right there in the photo. We could fix up the bird box later if it were, er damaged. :)

I have been shooting squirrels everyday for the last couple of years. Flying tree rats would be great. I'd could break out my Winchester 101 skeet gun and give it a workout. Don't send any though. If it's a squirrel, it will find it's way to our property.

Flying squirrels are rare and seldom seen. They are not legal to hunt in Florida. I have killed trainloads of gray squirrels but never a flying squirrel. Same with fox squirrels. And I wouldn't kill one given the chance.

The bird house is not blue, 22, it is kind of yellow.

Ditto, Tom. If there's a tree rat around, it will find my house.

We were camping one night several years ago at Holly River State Park in WV. We were sitting out after dark around a fire we had built and I noticed from the corner of mt eye things going through the air off of and into an old tree. At first I thought these were bats I was seeing but after watching for a while it dawned upon me that I was seeing flying squirrels. It was the first and only time that I have seen them in the wild.

I've never seen one but would love to. I'd shoot the other tasty rodents but those are just too cool.

It's a point, I would also never shoot an endangered or rare animal. It's either pests, in the case of grey squirrels or rabbits, or controlled game in season.
  13. Cambridge man shoots cute little bunnies and squirrels!!!! Parliament to take action immediately to protect these poor creatures from further depredations by the cruel Tories!:D;):p

Indeed, and I propose myself as the ideal candidate to protect these poor little animals. Given politics today, it makes perfect sense.
