This is an old 22 rifle left to me.

I have no info about this gun. I have searched all over online.

Shoots fine but the finish is not good. I am considering refinishing it if its worth anything. Not sure that the sights are original.

    Here are some pics.

Welcome to TFF Chad. I cant find anything in my books on it either but I believe that it was made by Savage. I'll keep looking. Someone will come along who probably has one of those and will have all the info. Jim K?

It came from a large department store chain called Gambles Skogmo. They sold everything under the sun included your rifle. Most of their guns were made by Savage and a few other makers. Couldnt find a thing on your model but it probably isnt worth much.

I think I found it in one of my books. It seems to be a Stevens Mod. 56. Google it and see if it matches yours. I stole someones pic. Hope it comes out good.
