I just bought the G33. Haven't been to the range yet but did a lot of research before I bought it. The G26 is pretty popular and the ammo is cheaper and easier to find. You loose velocity with a short barrel as I'm sure you know. The 9mm to me is kind of a wimpy round, some will disagree. But the .357 SIG is a 9mm, just a 9mm with a lot more punch. I've read that the .357 SIG performs really well out of the G33, still has at least 1350 FPS. Glock calls the G33 their little "pocket rocket". On line, .357 SIG is only $18 per box of 50.

I bought the Glock 26, as I have all of the reloading dies, etc, for the 9mm. Shoots fine and feels like a Glock. I like it. YMMV

Get the G33, You can always buy a 9mm conversion barrel, and if it fancies ya, you could even get a 40 cal barrel for it.........just sayin..
