I've been thinking about getting a Glock, but didn't really like the recoil (figured I could replace the spring or something later). This new version seems to have a reduced recoil and got a good review...anyone tried it?

    Good article/review:

    Jeepix,
It depends on which Glock you buy. I shoot a M34 at IDPA shoots. It is
their longest gun along with the M35. The M34 is a 9MM and it hardly kicks at
all. I also had a M17 which I sold and it didn't kick all that much either.

Heck, I've got a Glock 20 2nd edition (10mm)...can't say that the recoil is bad either...

Until Glock makes those funky finger grooves an removable option...I won't be buying any more.

The backstrap option is nice...but it's those darn finger grooves in the front that screw people up.
