I have 2 - 10 round and 2 - 13 round magazines for my Glock 21. I've had the gun a little over a month and I am having an issue loading the mags to full capacity. The last round really does not like loading. Sometimes I just give up. Is this common with Glocks or am I just a wimpy old guy? I am really hoping these will break in over time.
It's not just Glocks, and it's not just you. I see lots of customers who have the same trouble, with a variety of gun brands. I think that the manufacturers are making the springs stronger to reduce surge during recoil and improve reliability. Personally, I have no trouble loading mags for my older guns, but the newer ones, like the Sig P938, are a misery to load. That last round is a battle.
Several magazine loaders are available - I'd recommend trying one.
Your a wimpy old guy, just get used to it It's a moot point anyway, you'll be too tired to fire the whole magazine anyway
From what I've been told strong spring means reliable magazine. The older I get the more tempting those magazine loading thingamabobs look
I got a 9 round mag for Christmas for my LC9s. Even with the Uplula loader I only got 8 in the first time through. Sounds like a common problem that will go away after a break in period.
I'm a wimp , I couldn't get past the third round loading my M&P Magazines . If unable to load past the 3rd round or so with an UpLula the Spring is bent or installed incorrectly
I have tried the helper things for loading magazines. I don't use them because I have found I can load faster without. Maybe it's technique. Not bragging or anything.
Good call men. I am now a happy camper with 4 filled to capacity Glock magazines.
Mucho thankees
