going out of business find

    Another pawn shop is closing down not far from the house this was the only handgun he had left made a offer of 150.00 and he accepted the offer. I figured for that price it would make a good gun for future trading or a good truck gun

    $150 is a good price on any functioning Ruger auto, no matter the finish condition. I think you did quite well on one in that shape. :)

    The US army bought a bunch of those. Yes, to issue to soldiers. Rock Island Armory bought 5000 some time ago.

    The reason so few know about it is because there are no complaints about its ability to be abused and still function flawlessly. Any pistol you can buy that has an NSN number for that cheap is one hell of a find.

    Wish I could stumble across something like that. Oh well.
