Lady was my Mother's cousin. Picture taken family ranch in Texas 1910-15. She became a teacher, never married. I visited her in Houston ca. 1965, she picked me up in her 1946 Chevy coupe, still looking like new with 90k miles on it. SAA is .38-40. When I was 16, 1940 I drove my Grandparents, OK to TX to visit people & place where they were born. Visiting Great Aunt, she went into back room, bringing back the gun, saying "I think Uncle Dave would want you to have this.' I still have it. Wonder what it's worth today. :)

That picture and gun with the stories behind them are worth more than can be measured in money.

After seeing so many of those old guns rusted, mutilated, and destroyed, either by neglect or by crude attempts to "restore" them, it is a pleasure to see one that shows just honest use. Nice gun.

Rough estimate, not much info to go on, maybe $9000. Family value- priceless.
