All,
New member here. I found this forum while searching for info on an H&R .22 Special (9 shot .22LR) that surfaced while sorting out my dad's gun cabinet.
This pistol appears to be in good shape for a 70+ year old, but I can not figure out how to remove the cylinder for cleaning. There doesn't appear to be a catch to disengage it from the barrel assembly. Do I have to remove the barrel+cyl to remove the cylinder? Is there something special about the extractor assembly?
Any info would be welcome.
Thanks,
Fritz
