    H&R used the "AF" letter codes in 1969. value of a Model 732 (manufactured 1957-1986) would be 60%=$85 to 100%=$185

    the Model 732 is capable of using either the 32 S&W or the 32 S&W LONG.

    FYI, the 32 S&W Long is a very accruate cartridge and is chambered in many fine target handguns.

    I have an H&R 732 with a serial number starting with AL. Do you know when these were manufactured? Also, I've seen that some of these say .32S&W Long, but mine just says .32S&W. Can all model 732s safely fire 32 long, or only the ones that specify it? Thanks in advance for any information you have.

    AL=1973

    H&R mixed the markings on this model. when the model 732 was introduced the 32 S&W was considered an obsolete and they were just marked 32 S&W refering to the 32 S&W LONG. they will chamber both.
