On the H&R 922 P series does it take a two pin or single pin cylinder stop? And will a two pin work in lieu of the one pin? Or, can I cut the back pins off a two pin if a one pin stop is needed? I 've got this P series in to put back together for a customer and Numrich was out of the one pin stops. The two pin looked similar and I ordered one of those hoping that if it wasn't the right one, I could modify it to work. Any help would be appreciated.
Unless I don't understand what your post is saying "The two pin looked similar and I ordered one of those hoping that if it wasn't the right one, I could modify it to work", seems like the thing to do is modify it & move on.
The P series 922 takes a one-pin type cylinder stop. I am enclosing a picture of the 2 types of cylinder stops sitting side-by-side. As you can see, they have identical bodies, and should be interchangeable upon removing the 2nd pin, or vice-versa, adding a second pin.
