I recently accqried an H&R Model 922 as follows:

    6" Octagonal barrel, brass half-moon front sight, pull-pin cylinder,serial#
158xxx. Left top flat says ' H&R Arms Company Worcester, Mass, USA
    (2 lines)

    Left flat has H & R 922

There are no caliber markings. It as a nine shot solid frame SA/DA with
Bisley style grips, apparently over-sized wrap around w/ 1 screw.

Would it be possible for someone to give me an approximate date of manufacture? I have access to the BB for an approximate value.

Hey Bill, you seem to know all about the 922! I;ve got one with a serial #A1061, cleaned up real nice, but the cylinder pin is broken, know where I can get another one?
Any idea what year this one is? sure would appreciate it.

The serial number of your H&R 922 (A1061) indicates it is a 1940 model (fifth variation).

As for the Pull Pin (Center Pin) try Numerich at www.e-gunparts.com. However, I have read that this part may be hard to find as it is easily lost/broken.
