Thanks in advance for any help.
There is a rifle hanging on the wall at my Mother-in-law's house and we wanted to figure out what year it is from and if it is worth anything.
It is a Harrington and Richardson Arms Co 12g shotgun. On the right hand side of the gun (sorry for my lack of official terminology) above the trigger it says HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON ARMS Cp
WORCHESTER MASS USA PAT FEB. 27 1900

The serial number (located on the underside of the gun) is 205976

When the barrel is opened the serial number is inside there as well.

On top of the barrel it says "12CA CHOKE"

    Thanks for any info/insight!

I can upload pics if that helps.

    Bri-

Here are some pictures of the gun. It is a bit "rusty" so the engraving doesn't show up on the pictures.
    Thanks again

Sure you didn't take it off the wall from the local Cracker Barrel? maybe worth $75 to a collector. Don't think I would attempt to fire it. If the bore and barrel are good inside then you could but it needs a good cleaning.

It's a Model 1908 (permanent hinge pin, snap off fore-stock for take down.) With that serial number - probable era of manufacture is 1915-1918. Value in that condition, IMHO would top out at 75 bucks. Oil it up and stop the rust!

Thanks so much for the info! We'll oil it up for sure.
