Hi all, thanks for the welcome- the silly name was just what I thought up as I kind of took the opposite road my mother would have chosen for me. I love my mom and I was a stubborn kid, and I now have two daughters to worry me to death-well at least one of them does! :)

    Hi Jack,
I shoot a little bit of many dIffernt types of revolvers, pistols, rifles and a few shotguns, I'll post some picts later.
I see you are from the biggest Island. I remember meeting the Australian Army rifle team representatives back in 1993 at the National championships stateside Camp Perry, Ohio. There were only two of them and I don't recall what their service rifle was, but I do know they liked to party after a long day of shooting. We would also see the Australian shooting team stickers plastered up all over the bars and restaurants as they just stuck 'em up everywhere-fun and good guys! Thanks for the kind welcome!
    Best-Mike

he was sooooo sick the next day , almost felt sorry for him ( was pretty crook myself but would not show it for love nor money)

service rifle would have been L1A1 SLR ( aussie version FN/FAL) in 93, with the change to the Styers early 94 and not on the comp. shoot list til later that year

    Hi Red14,
I live in California. I have lived in Wa, Md, Va, NC and was raised in Great Falls, Montana. Family were original homesteaders from Sweden in Minnesota (Brainard) and then in Big Sandy, Mt where the family farm is still going.
I have landed in South California with the Marine Corps and have been out 16 years and continue to work here for now.
Thanks all for the warm welcome.
    Best, Mike

    Hi Noslolo,
no I haven't used it elsewhere, I post as "runninmike" @ other sites I frequent. I just though I would change it for this forum which seems very well rounded and I am also just kind of tired of using the same moniker-it is even part of my private email addy so I thought a change would be nice since I hardly run anymore-I now mostly run with scissors. :•>
