I picked up a 1950 vintage High Standard Model G-B for a really good price at the gun show this weekend.
I'm looking for a firing pin, grips and another magazine or two.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

I would try Numrich. Just go to Google and type in Numrich.

I checked with Numrich and their firing pins are "sold out."
My firing pin was missing completely...no pieces or anything, so I have no idea what it even looks like or diminsions. Brownell's lists one that is 1.775" OAL and chisel point but doesn't say it will fit the GB Model.

Strangely enough, you can order parts straight thru High Standard of Texas.

    FP's, grips, & Mags.

    Oh, yeah, read this.

You should also be able to use H-B & B model firing pins.

I got a couple of firing pins from Jack First (http://www.jackfirstgun.com/index.php) for $42.00. Thanks Shooter45!
I checked with High Standard in Houston. They wanted $60.00 for two firing pins plus another $10 to ship them the 300 miles from Houston to San Antonio. I would have done it if they were the only game in town, but it seemed a little ridiculous to me.

I got the grips from Vintage Gun Grips. I didn't even ask High Standard.

    Cool :)

I've not had to order anything from anyone for mine...I'm lucky, it's a VERY precise pistol :D

    Darn good snake-killer, too :D
