I read about these in the vmbb board and my interest in piqued!
I have German in me and I think this would be a good tradition to pass on to my children.
first I need to make one for my self and I have no nobility to gift me with one. for that matter I am running out of male relatives on my fathers side in a fast hurry. any way....
I will need to make 4. The hides for the sheath and antlers for the handle will not be a problem but finding a supplier for the blade with out handle and any thing else I need is where I am at a loss.

any help with suppliers guy or any one want to help me out by making some blades for me.

ALSO any links with history of the tradition and pictures of these knives would be greatly appreciated!!
