I'm kind of disgusted with the .380 in general, there wasn't much of that caliber to begin with, I rarely see it on the shelves. Today I found a few boxes of American Eagle, Federal's cheap brand, but at least they are brass! Jeez, I hope the gun likes them.
It's been tough to find for a long time. I found a few boxes of FMJ at a gun show recently that were priced more than I've paid for quality defensive ammo before.
Yes, I saw that in G&A, weird. Locally, it was touted as the new self-defense round, especially for short people and women, LOL! I only bought the gun because it seemed incredibly nice, I was doubtful about the caliber from the start. Oh well, it works for the time being, and maybe more ammo will show up on shelves.
When the dude at the gun shop first showed it to me, he went on about how much women like these for home defense, blah blah blah. I just smiled and said I use a 12 gauge for home defense. LOL! The look on his face was priceless!
I don't know what they mean by seasonal, unless there talking about just running the ammo at certain times of the year I know 380 is run on the same lines as 9mm and they have to retool to run it.
Nothing wrong with the 380 for SD I don't know anyone that wants to be shot with one or even a 22rf for that matter.
