I have an H & A five shot revolver. Looks like the pat is Aug 21, 1905. The gun breaks open from the top. It is marked Safety Police on top. The mechanism works e.g dry fires - but the cylinder does not align with the barrel - from wear, I would assume. I would not consider it a weapon to fire - but it looks fairly decent. The plastic grips have some small chips. Is there any value to this piece? Here in Chicago they are having a gun turn in program - if this piece is not worth $100 - I think I will turn it in. I appreciate any response.

If'n ya decide to turn it in, set it on a railroad track & let it get run over by a couple of trains first.
