I remember like it was yesterday. I was running around on the web looking for information on some guns, found this forum, and lurked for a couple of weeks on the puter at work. I had been involved in several on line forums, all motorcycle related, and had some on the net that I had started myself. I was impressed with the knowledge of the members here, and the way everyone just got along with one another. Printed up a page from the forum, came home, and signed up! One of the first things I do almost every morning is to check out the latest on TFF. And the good people here let me post too! Imagine that!

Al Gore told me about TFF right after he invented the internet. LOL I was looking for some reloading info and happened across TFF. There seemed to be a lot of great people here and some tremendous knowledge so I stuck around.

I only remember i was searching for something to do with guns or ammo or powder. Came across it. I had never been on a forum before and did not know what this was all about. This is the first forum i joined and by the grace of God still here. Met some nice people from here. The late great 358 and a bunch of wonderful gents in Ga too.

Me and Shooter45 had a mutual friend who introduced us so when he told me about his forum I looked it up and was totally impressed!

I originally joined in 2002 as one of the 'miscreants' that migrated from another board - the one known as Brand X here. I remember Bob in St Louis, PolishShooter, Xracer, 358 Winchester and a bunch of folks from back then. Left for quite a while, then found my way back. Best gun forum on the net.

I accidentally found the forum back in 2005 and 'lurked' before finally joining. Since then, it's been one learning experience after another...
