How I store my home defense shotgun??
We have 8 frisky grandchildren who ALL have had Gun Safety A La Grandpa. They do well, and obey the rules, in MY house. Their parents, NONE of them, believe in long guns, acquiring instead .380, .357, and .40 cal. handguns. So I keep my shotgun, Baikal, semi., 3" Magnum, 9-in tube, 1-in chamber, stored upright in the space afforded behind our bedroom door. A latex finger off an exam glove over the muzzle, butt-down, resting in a shallow metal cup. Loaded ØØØ buck going out first, sold slug next, then all the rest are ØØØ, except the last round, which is a White-Star magnesium signal flare. This helps me find their bodies.
