Got you beat by a little bit. 21 calibers and 4 gauges, was 5 but I gave my 16 gauge shells to the preacher.

By the way, and totally apropos of nothing :D, the decimal point is only used for calibers measured in hundreds or thousands of an inch. .22 or .45. It is not .9mm, and it is certainly not .12 gauge.

Counting black powder? 27. Smokeless only, 21. There's a couple old timers, like my Spencer, and my Trapdoor Springfield that don't get shot so they don't count.

I try to buy guns in only the calibers I already have or that can shoot multiple chamberings.

    22Lr
    327 Fed Mag (32HR, 32SWL, 32SW)
    357Mag (38 spcl)
    45Acp
    7mm-08

Looks like 5 total for me.
