How much does a henry 22 usually cost at walmart?

    Hi guys, what's up? I was wondering how much the henry model H001 costs at walmart. I have about 102 dollars now and I was hoping to save up for a henry 22. It would be my first rifle. I would shoot rabbits and squirrels in my back yard.

    Buds Gun Shop on-line lists the Henry .22 at $260. Wallyworld could be a little cheaper but I wouldn't expect it to be 50% cheaper than the Buds price. The $260 price is for the survival rifle. The lever action Henry they list at $288. You'll probably have to do some more saving.

    Keep your eyes open for one to show up in a pawn shop. I picked one up several years ago for 150.00. It had a couple parts that need replacing, but Henry sent them at no cost.:thumbsup: Very good customer service.

    The Henry rifles in Southern Nevada Walmarts are priced at $299.I would get the model in the Western style octagon barrel because it holds 17 rounds not 14 unlike the standard shorter version.Not to brag but I've put several thousand rounds through mine and I can hit small targets at all different distances on the first shot.I know just where to place the iron site.I like how the site sits up high on top of the barrel unlike my Marlin-60 which makes me place my cheek close to the stock to look down the barrel.

    Hmmm, I have the standard H0001, mine holds 15 .22LR . I do love the gun, and like the physical layout and size of the sights very much. 1 thing though I'm not crazy about is the front sight is black, the rear white. Sort of backwards and in lower light situations, makes the front sight kind of hard to see.

    I didn't know the standard version held 15 rounds that's even better yet.My Marlin-60 and Savage pump both hold 14.My mistake,I looked on Henry's site and sure enough it's 15 rounds.In that case the longer version wouldn't matter much.They sure are lot's of fun.I'm glad I own one.
