I don't disagree, however God has no intention of ending the world, just the way we live our lives. That's why Christ returns at the Battle of Armageddon, to prevent man from destroying all flesh on planet earth, and planet earth (the world) itself. The world will continue for another 1,000 years after Armageddon. At the end of the 1,000 years, God will create the "new" heavens and the "new" earth, a "world without end".

Porch light is always on and the coffee is always hot. Just bring ammo and I will provide the targets. Any visit to the little hut in the woods involves some shooting. That is the rule. :D

    Interesting indeed, Jack.
The National Geographic Research Team says October 10th of 2718 will be the winter solstice for the northern hemisphere.

I guess they know something concerning a radical shift in the earths tilt that they are not sharing with anyone else that is going to move the soltice 72 days earlier than it has always been -

That strengthens an old addage -

    QUESTION AUTHORITY!!!

I just checked my calendar program -
In 2718 the winter solstice falls on 12/22, so they are 73 days off, not 72.

I looked at 10/10 of that year to see if it was anything special -

    It is.

    World Mental Health Day.

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!

No problem marlin, the Lord said.."Pray always that you will be counted worthy to escape ALL of these things to come upon the world and stand before the Son of Man". All in the Greek means all, not part of or half . :D Besides, does anyone really believe that Christ wants half of the snot beat out of His bride prior to being presented to His Father?
