We had the warmest New Year's Day I can remember. I drove by a bank sign at 4:30 that said 70 degrees! It's usually in the 30's at this time of year. I took out the Colt and shot a 50 round box earlier in the day. I could get used to this.

  2. same down here in the florida panhandle, was beautiful, i was in short sleeves all day new years, right at 70 degrees. was threatening rain but didn't until real late in the afternoon.

High 60s here yesterday and very overcast. Got a few drizzles in the evening.

  5. Mostly in the mid-50s here on the Front Range of the Rockies during the day; sunny with scattered clouds. Cooler at night, down into the 30s. There seems to be a large high-pressure area sitting right over the top of us now.

74 in North Alabama this morning.

I do miss seeing snow at this time of year but I'm glad it doesn't find its way down here. I'm too ole to shovel!!!!!!:)

Yesterday it was around 30* and lightly snowing. Right now it's 35* and cloudy. Not too bad at all.

It's been windy and raining for over a week up here. Had a little sunshine yesterday but the clouds closed back in before dark and we got wet again. 39* outside at the moment with winds gusting to 40mph.

it is supposed to hit a balmy 31 degrees here today and it actually feels pretty good out.
I have been in the garage (un heated single stall apartment garage) all morning working on a project and Im not frozen. the big thing here is there is no wind, which is a rairty here, I can count on two hands the number of days we have had no wind in the last 2 1/2 years!!
we are butt deep in snow though and its nice to see piles and piles of the white stuff every where.

  11. There was a small amount of moisture this morning.
It did get into the 50's today and I did some riding.
It sure seems like the wind has been more of a factor than in previous years!!

Yesterday, we had a high of 72 and the low this morning was 63. Today it got up to 75 and sunny. Right now, about 6:00 PM, we have a thunderstorm moving in. My bride and I got some good motorcycle riding in! :D
