It's about 2:00 PM here in central Ohio, and it's 90 degrees and humid. UGH I'm sure 90 sounds good to folks from Texas and down in there, but it feels friggin' HOT to me.
By the way, how are the summers out in Wyoming, Montana, out in that general area ? I've read that Wyoming on balance is the coolest state. I'm thinking of moving out there once my kids are out on their own.

Eighty-something, and lots of rain. Just got done watching my son running around in it like a crazy monkey, until the lightning got too close. I think this round just past. more to come.

Thats how July was here in Ohio. It was pleasantly cool. Now August has been rather hot and humid so far.

I'm hearing a little thunder off in the distance, so I guess we'll get our normal daily afternoon thunder storm. It'll rain for a few minutes and then get more humid. :(

We're starting to keep our eyes on the gulf. It's been quiet all season and all of a sudden we've 3 storms to watch. :(

Just remember, if you can hear thunder, you are within range of a lightning strike, (according to the Weather Channel).

Weather here has been almost the same everyday for a month now. Mid 90's, high humidity, usually short rains everyday. Like Art said, That only makes it more humid. Same forecast for all of next week.
Hope we don't get a hurricane out of one of those depressions. We've been lucky since Katrina. Should know something by late in the week.

Send one over here to landfall south of Corpus Christi. It's our best chance of rain and hits large ranchland. Very little damage and lotsa rain. We need it bad. I've had less than 2" of rain since last august, and over an inch fell at one time.

For the last couple of years our rain pattern has changed. Dry winters and dry springs also.
I hope it changes for yall. As long as it ain't one of those windy rains, if you catch my drift. ;) :)

85, 90 degrees, humid as usual, wonderfully overcast, keeps the hot sun off, don't have to worry about sunburn, not much wind, just my kind of weather. Today I rode my Trikke 30 miles and my bicycle 45 miles and went to church. 8:30 PM and I'm going to work on the car. Weather has been too nice lately or too rainy to work on cars.

70s sunny, and we just had a late day sprinkle.
A couple of thunder boomers as it passed over.
  19. Pretty much the same down here in the Arkansas Valley region, Pick, though we didn't get any thunder boomers today. Did you folks get hit with that hailstorm the other night? We got clobbered. My bean plant leaves have holes in them from the pea sized hail we got!:rolleyes:
