I'm sick and tired of the whiney little liberal, lace sewn to their shorts, panty wearing, pseudo-intellectual, over educated, under worked, namby pamby, pablum sucking, latte swilling, chardonnay sipping aholes who have never had to really work a day in their life telling the rest of the USofA what we can and can't, should and shouldn't do.

I would love for ten or twelve of the arrogant little b*st*rds to illegally enter Mexico, set up house, demand driver's licenses, demand that their kids be able to go to school AND be taught in English, not Spanish. Protest when someone tears down the US flag that they so proudly fly over their home, demand social services and free medical care, and try and tell the Mexican government that they want to have the freedom to celebrate the 4th of July without any hassle from the local population and local authorities. I would love to see it, 'cause their prissy little a$$es would be locked up so fast in a Mexican prison that after a few hours they would be begging El Jefe Bandito also interred there to be his personal b*tch.

Sorry..but I got sorta carried away. We know it isn't going to happen...but everyone needs a fantasy life of some sort!

I still think the midnight border crossers should be given the proper definition: "international criminals." Perhaps that would make it easier to get the law enforced by our cops.

I would have said exactly the same thing about liberals without picking out illegal immigrants as my "issue." I'm sick and tired of them for a whole bunch of reasons including their unconstitutional attacks on gun rights, and tired of trying to "help them understand" why they lost the election. I think they are dead enders everywhere but the two coasts. And I feel sorry for those good Americans on the coasts who have to put up with their agenda being rammed through the legislatures.

The more ideologically bankrupt they are proven to be, the harder they beat their dead horses. In that sense, they are indistinguishable from Islamic insurgents...

Illegal immigrants is NOT my issue!!!! Liberals and their agendae is my agenda...well, their elimination! ;) They do not believe in the priniciples this country was founded on, but rather a somewhat wierd and wacky, and probably sometimes drug induced convoluted way of thinking, feelthat they have the answer to everything!

offeror...why don't you pick an agenda for me/us to bang away at?

John, I too feel your frustration.
They are the ones that move into a nice quiet conservative neighborhood
in order to escape the works of their fellow liberals from whence they came.
    They want to leave the crime, drugs, and wacked out wierdos so they move in amongst those areas who still support good ole family values. Once there they force their monstrous ideas upon the tolerant souls who live there and try to instill their new age open minded culture on them. When a few of the more vocal tolerant locals raise their voices in protest, the open minded libs shame them back with words to familiar to so many of us;
racist, hate filled homophobes. I'm with ya brother.

I defintely share your opinon, John. Before the elections, I was having a debate with a relative, a young lady, who is very liberal. Her parents are yellow dog Democrats. She asked me, “What’s so evil about being a liberal anyway?” in a condescending sort of tone. The following is my reply that I wrote to her.

What is so evil about being liberal anyway? Ahh, a good question. I will attempt to answer it from my perspective.

First, you need to know what my perspective is. I am a strict constitutional constructionist. That is, I believe in interpreting the Constitution in terms of the founding fathers' intent as revealed in the Federalist and Anti Federalist Papers (boring reading, but enlightening) and in the correspondence between the various framers who wrote the Constitution.

With that out of the way, liberal does not equal evil in terms of right or wrong. Some of the policies advocated by the left are evil in terms of the Constitution and individual rights.

The founding fathers did not want a strong central government. They had just won freedom from an absolute monarchy and had tried a confederation of states. That didn't work either. They sought to achieve a balance between a central government strong enough to hold the country together and defend it and one that would be prohibited from becoming dictatorial and depriving citizens of their inalienable rights. The end result was a document giving specific powers to the federal government and leaving all other power to the states.

Over the years, beginning with Andrew Jackson and his little relocation project, and next Lincoln with martial law and the suspension of habeas corpus, continuing with FDR and the wartime powers act, and the latest with Bush and some questionable provisions of the Homeland Security Act, individual rights have been eroded and the powers of the states have been usurped by the federal government. Keep in mind that the various congresses went right along with these and passed the necessary legislation to achieve them. Political party affiliation didn't matter; it was and is all about a lust for power, which is contagious - especially at the federal level.

Many liberals, especially at the federal level, have an elitist mindset. That is, they appear to think they are all wise and the rest of us sheep don't have sense enough to pour pee out a boot with the instructions written on the heel. They know what is best for the masses - we don't have sense enough to know what is best. Therefore, they feel determined and justified to force their philosophies on us and make our decisions for us. When they lose at the ballot box, they seek out activist federal judges to legislate from the bench to force us sheep in line. Need some examples? Let me know; I have about 100 years worth. In short, liberals want to force me to adopt and live under their all knowing wisdom and ideals - even when their philosophy directly conflicts with the intent of the Constitution.

Liberalism directly opposes the individual freedom on which the Constitution was based. Liberalism, of necessity, means a strong central government dictating citizens' choices for them. You will not hear many liberals at the national level espousing individual rights. You will hear them espouse human rights, but not individual rights. The two are definitely not the same. Individual rights, the right of you and I to make our own choices, accept the responsibility for our choices, and accept responsibility for the consequences of our choices and actions, is diametrically opposed to liberal philosophy.

Liberalism promotes mediocrity and stifles initiative. A prime example of this is the dumbing down of our public schools. I could write a whole essay on this alone.

Liberalism, in the form of welfare, steals by force from productive members of society and rewards incompetence, laziness, and lack of initiative by giving this stolen wealth to those who have not earned it. Before you go ballistic, there are those members of our society that will always need assistance and we have a moral obligation to provide that assistance. Those who are handicapped, either physically or mentally, need our help. Those who have suffered a disaster - fire, flood; hurricane, etc. need our help temporarily. There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution that gives us the right to medical care, a comfortable life style, a job, etc. The Constitution gives us the right and freedom to earn these for ourselves.

Liberalism appeals to those who would trade security for freedom. Ben Franklin addressed this by stating that those who would trade security for freedom will ultimately have neither. It is the Constitutional role of the federal government to provide security from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. It is not the role of the government to provide medical security, job security, and retirement security. These are individual responsibilities. For the record, I am lower middle class - by my choice, decisions, and actions. I am satisfied with who I am and where I am. If I weren't, I would change my circumstances.

Liberalism appeals to those who don't wish to or can't make their own decisions. It appeals to those who do not want to take responsibility for their actions and decisions and who seek to avoid the consequences of their own actions and decisions. Liberalism appeals to selfish people with a "give me - you owe me" attitude. It appeals to people who have little confidence in their own abilities and want the government to do it for them. It appeals to those who lack the initiative and self-discipline to achieve.

Liberalism opposes the fundamentals on which the founding fathers based the Constitution: individual freedom and choice, capitalism, and property rights. Liberalism is socialist. Socialism de-emphasizes the individual and emphasizes the collective. Notice that those who are "politically correct" (read liberals) insist on dividing us into groups, e.g., African-American, Native American, Mexican-American, Irish American, etc. The goal is to get us to identify with a group and not identify ourselves as unique individuals. Groups are easier to mange and/or coerce than are individuals - the herd instinct. Liberals seek to limit my freedom of choice. They want it to be their way or no way. Individuality is a major threat to liberals and socialism. It is a road block to forcing their philosophy on us.

Have you ever considered why liberals are anti Second Amendment? It is definitely not about safety and crime. It is about control. Research the history of the Bill of Rights and particularly the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment is the guarantee of the whole Bill of Rights. Research the framer's thoughts as to why this amendment is part of the Bill of Rights. Then you will see why so many liberals are rabidly anti Second Amendment.

The evil of liberalism is that ultimately it destroys freedom, initiative, creativity, individual rights, and the human spirit. It starts by trading freedom for security and results in a society of slaves dependent upon a central government for their very existence and powerless to change their own lives, let alone change the government.

You may not agree with what I have written and you have every right not to agree. But I hope you will read this with an open mind and ask yourself, "Why am I a liberal?" "Could anything this lunatic said be right?" Perhaps you are a socialist and you think socialism is the best form of government. You have that right and I have the right oppose you - which I will do to my dying day.
